HTML Links

A link is specified using HTML tag <a>. This tag is called anchor tag and anything between the starting <a> tag and the closing </a> tag becomes the part of the link and a user can click that part to reach to the linked document.

The Target Attribute

The target Attribute is used to specify the location where linked document is opened. Example :-
  • _blank :- It Opens the document in new window or Tab.
  • _self :- It Opens the document in the same frame.
  • _top :- It Opens the document in the full body of the window.

  • _targetframe :- It opens the document in a named targetframe..
